It is a case of 1,311 down and one to go at Park Central as there is just a single apartment currently left for sale at the popular city centre scheme.

The two-bedroom flat is in the newest phase, Madison Walk, which is made up of 31 contemporary apartments and townhouses.

Over the past 12 years the Crest Nicholson development has regenerated the former Lee Bank district into a desirable residential area with parkland at its centre.

Park Central is a mix of apartments and freehold townhouses, together with 285,000 sq ft of commercial space.

Sales at the development have been boosted by Birmingham’s growing appeal as a place to live and work .

Crest Nicholson has been awarded a top national award for its Park Central development in Birmingham city centre.

A recent report by Mercer revealed it was the top regional city outside of London in terms of quality of life.

Crest Nicholson says this, along with its national and international popularity and the current retail, transport and business investment within the city, has been reflected in the near sell out of Park Central.

The remaining apartment is priced at £158,000 and has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, two double bedrooms, en suite, bathroom, private balcony and allocated parking space.

This will not be the last ever chance to buy at the scheme, however. There is one final phase to be delivered, the plans for which are still to be revealed.
