AN EPIC adventurer has paddled 106 miles around Solihull and Warwickshire canals in just four days for the Children’s Trust charity.

Justin Miles, aged 39, canoed through canals around the Warwickshire Ring, accompanied by Touch FM DJ Simon Alexander.

They began in Leamington Spa last Friday (May 4), passing through the waters of Solihull and Knowle before completing the circle back in Leamington on Monday (May 7) for a finishing party.

Justin has always been the intrepid sort, and was living in jungles around Central America by the age of 19.

Now a full-time adventurer, he has walked across the Antarctic with explorer Jim McNeill and escorted The Queen as part of the Thames Jubilee Pageant.

The team raised over £1,000 towards the Trust, which support children with disabilities, a cause close to Justin’s heart after he suffered a life-changing car accident aged 26, which left him with serious brain injures.
