AFTER Toni & Guy had their grand re-launch to celebrate their huge salon makeover last month, the Solihull News decided to pay a visit.

There is a huge feeling of light and space in the minimalist, modern salon since the High Street hairdressers had its first refurbishment in its 15 year history.

My restyle was booked with franchisee Sarah Kealy who assured me that, while I would receive Toni & Guy’s cutting edge style, staff were trained to ensure that all cuts must suit the client first of all.

we settled on a sweeping fringe, re-shape and a good trim. It was also decided my dried-out hair needed one of the salon’s deep revitalising treatments so it was off to the basins for a delicious smelling oat and honey shampoo. After a good rinse, it was into the styling chair.

When she finished, I was impressed. The results from the conditioning treatment were astounding and left my hair looking extremely shiny, healthy and soft while the cut was very flattering and shaped my face while displaying all of Toni & Guy’s distinctive cutting-edge style.

It also put a lot more life in my normally poker straight hair with a glamorous looking wave, and I went away with a few of the salon’s products to reenact the style at home including the label.m volume mousse and label.m resurrection style dust to give a boost at the roots.
