AN AIR Cadet from Smith’s Wood is one step closer to becoming a fully fledged pilot after gaining his ‘wings.’

Flight Sergeant Anthony Mulvey of the Chelmsley Wood-based 2504 Archbishop Grimshaw School Squadron spent two weeks flying in a Grob Heron 115D2 from Dundee Airport.
