STEPPING out for charity is solicitor Alison Middleton who is set to run this month’s London Marathon to raise money for Age UK.
Alison, from the corporate department at Solihull and Birmingham solicitors Williamson & Soden, will be taking part in the event on April 17.
As well as volunteering with Age UK, she has already raised over £1,000 and expects to add significantly to this figure.
Miss Middleton, pictured, said: “I chose to run for Age UK because we all will be old one day. Age UK helps to combat loneliness and aims to lighten the load when age becomes a burden.
“Williamson & Soden also does a considerable amount of professional work in terms of wills, powers of attorney and looking after the interests of elderly people who may have to go into residential care.”
