Focusing on the language of signage in the locale, Eisenreich will be producing and recording object moments across the entire space of the gallery culminating in ‘A Performance in Five Acts’ on July 20, from 6.30pm to 8pm.
From a background in photography, German-born Eisenreich incorporates performative and installation strategies into her practice. Her work often evolves around game structures exploring space between documentation, sculpture, publishing and scriptwriting.
‘Uta Eisenreich Signals Ahead’ is at the Eastside Projects’ Second Gallery, Heath Mill Lane, Birmingham, until Friday July 28. Open Wednesday to Saturday, 12-5pm, entrance is free.
