Appeal for traders for Solihull's Christmas Fayre

A newly themed festive “Christmas Fayre” will be welcoming visitors to Solihull for the first time this year and its operator is looking for local traders and their wares to create a fantastic shopping experience for visitors.

AN appeal for local traders to create a fantastic 'Christmas Fayre' in Solihull town centre this December has been launched.

Building on the success of last year’s German Market, the new Fayre will be open to traders of local crafts, quality festive gifts, glass, ceramics and fine food products.

“Following last year’s market, we were approached by a number of local traders who were very enthusiastic about taking part this year, which is great news for Solihull town centre and Mell Square," said Paul Round, Mell Square centre manager.

"Last year's German market was a great new venture and we are determined to build on its success by creating an even bigger and better offer, which we are confident will attract lots of visitors from across the region."

Located in and around the busy Mell Square and Mill Lane, there will be around 25 stalls available, in a variety of styles and sizes. In addition, the outdoor bar and hot food stalls will be making a welcome return. The Fayre will open on November 20 and will run right through to December 23.

For more information on the availability of stalls please visit or apply via email or in writing with details of the product and photo’s where possible to: Solihull Christmas Fayre, The White House Shipway Road, Haymills, Birmingham, B25 8DS.
