OVER 50 borough youngsters put BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing stars to shame last weekend as they showcased their talents at A Taste of Solihull.

Performing to songs from The Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera, the 54 young dancers from Star Struck Theatre School and Learning Curves School of Dance wowed with 16 performances in Mell Square on October 5-6.

The event, organised by Solihull’s Business Improvement District, was hailed a massive success - outdoor food and drink demonstrations and live music also featured.
