A NEW venue for campers and holiday-at-home Brits will be available at Hatton Farm Village, near Warwick, this summer.
Set in the 800-acre Hatton estate, home to the popular Hatton Farm Village, Warwickshire’s second largest tourist attraction, the new family campsite will be open over the weekends of June 25/27 and July 30/August 1.
The package includes a pitch for a camper’s tent and car for two nights and free entry to the farm village, where campers can enjoy a full day’s programme of entertainment and events, including animals, shows, an adventure playground and fun fair rides.
On Friday there will be campfire entertainment in the evening with a sing-along and marshmallows and chocolate for the children; on Saturday night there will be the chance for children to get up close to bugs and snakes in a bug mania event, followed by a children’s entertainer and disco; then on Sunday, a guided walk by Hatton’s famous canal locks will be a slower-paced option to the continuing fun in the farm village .
The Farmhouse Restaurant will stay open until 10 pm each night, opening again at 8am on Saturday and Sunday, together with the farm shop for those wanting supplies. Toilets and showers are available all weekend and campers can bring gas cooking stoves. Camping hosts will also be on site for security and to ensure everyone gets the most from the weekend.
