A BOROUGH animal sanctuary has been overrun with 50 unwanted rabbits.
Every Easter, the Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue, in Moat Lane, sees a surge in bunnies in need of a new home.
Since setting up three years ago, the charity has found new owners for over 550 rabbits.
Chloe Hennegan, who set up the charity from home, said that many people bought a new pet on a whim.
Then, when it comes to keeping, feeding and cleaning it, the attraction can wear off.
