BOROUGH businesses are being given the opportunity to shine as well as picking up a few new skills at this year’s Solihull Showcase.

Following the success of Solihull Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Solihull College’s inaugural event last year, the showcase is once again inviting Solihull companies to promote their products and services to the wider, local business community.

Following the success of Solihull Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Solihull College’s inaugural event last year, the showcase is once again inviting Solihull companies to promote their products and services to the wider, local business community.

Held on May 23 in The Management Centre at Solihull College in Blossomfield Road, the event, sponsored by Solihull News, stars special guest Tim Rhys-Evans, Founder and Musical Director of Only Men Aloud.

Chamber director Jane Jackson said: “We had an extremely positive response to our first event last year and saw an obvious need for it to continue as an annual event.

“It gives Solihull companies the opportunity to raise their profile and exhibit on a business-to-business basis.

“The way things are at the moment, both Chambers and the college are trying to support and promote businesses as much as we can and we’re looking at different ways to do that.

“There are a lot of digital marketing tools out there but there is definitely still a place for face to face business.”

The event offers workshops in finance, social media, marketing and website optimisation as well as the opportunity to attend two buyer forums focusing on the construction and hospitality sectors.

To attend, call Solihull Chamber of Commerce on 0121 781 7384 or email solevents@solihull-chamber.com.
