TWO lucky youngsters won a chance to have a special photographic portrait with their dog after attending a recent RSPCA event.
Liam Cameron, aged four, and Sean Cameron, aged 12, got to sit with their dog Oscar for the photo taken by Prestige Photography of Shirley.
The company kindly donated the studio sitting and a framed photograph as a prize at the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre’s dog show which was held at Frankley Green on Sunday July 19.
The event, which raised £2,030, was officially opened by Elliott Webb, BRMB’s Breakfast Presenter, together with Coun Michael Sharpe, the Lord Mayor’s Deputy.
Helen Tuite, community fund raising manager for the Animal Centre, said “We are so grateful for the support of Prestige Photography who donated the prize.
“It is only with the help of companies like this that we can offer such good prizes at events, and therefore are able to use donated money to look after the animals.”
Liam and Sean’s mum June said: “We were very pleased with the prize.
“We had a really brilliant day and there were lots of stalls and plenty going on.
“Oscar really enjoyed it too - even though he was too young to go in any of the classes.
“We took him to socialise him and were really thankful to come away with our win.”
