THE 75th birthday of rock and roll legend Buddy Holly’s is being celebrated at Solihull Arts Complex next month with a hit tribute act.

Buddy Holly & the Cricketers, who recently guest starred on BBC One’s The One and Only with Graham Norton, have been performing all his biggest hits, alongside 1950s and ‘60s classics from the likes of Elvis, Chuck Berry and The Beatles, for over 18 years.

This latest tour is especially important for the band as it commemorates Buddy Holly, who would have turned 75 last September if not for his untimely death in a plane crash in 1959 which shocked the world.

Buddy Holly & the Cricketers will perform at Solihull Arts Complex on Friday July 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £16.50 each.

For group bookings, one in every ten tickets booked is free.

To book, visit www.solihullartscomplex.co.uk or call the box office on 0121 704 6962.
