FIVE kind-hearted students from Solihull College took part in a day dedicated to charity car washing in Solihull Hospital car park last week.
They raised £85 altogether, and have donated this money to the Friends of Solihull Hospital Association (FOSH).
The youngsters got involved with this event as part of their Business Studies qualification.
Paul Butler, business lecturer at the college, said: “Thanks to the students’ hard work and enthusiasm, they have been able to raise even more money towards the Hospital. It is good to know that the money raised will go directly to benefit the lives of patients.”
The FOSH Association will use the money to invest in vital equipment and machinery for patients, having raised over £600,000 since starting in 1953.
