Meriden MP Caroline Spelman is backing UK Trade and Industry’s Export Week.
In all more than 60 events will be held for businesses across the UK focused on exporting to High Growth Markets.
There will be at least one event per day in every region.
These events will focus on a range of key markets and the week will include seminars on high value opportunities in these markets, international finance and trade workshops, training on international marketing, and much more. British Ambassadors from many of the high growth markets around the world will also be available at a number of the events to personally advise on and explain the benefits of doing business in their markets.
Mrs Spelman said: “I think this is a wonderful source of help for businesses in my constituency.
“Many local firms are doing well and battling through economic recovery. UKTI is giving them a chance to examine potential overseas markets that they might not have considered otherwise.
“Trade is shifting to high-growth areas such as Brazil, Russia, India and China but others are also opening up more, such as Colombia, Indonesia and Qatar.
“I hope that local entrepreneurs will make good use of the trade seminars and other sources of assistance in Export Week.”
