Catalytic converters stolen in Olton and Silhill

TWO motorists have been left with hefty bills after thieves stripped the catalytic converters from their vehicles last week.

TWO motorists have been left with hefty bills after thieves stripped the catalytic converters from their vehicles last week.

In two separate incidents in the Silhill and Olton areas, the equipment was wrenched from underneath the Mitsbubishi Shoguns.

Sergeant Paul O’Reilly said the converters were stolen for the value of the metal. The car owners are likely to be facing costs of over £1,000.
