VIP carrier Cello Aviation has added a second aircraft to its fleet based in Birmingham.
Established in 2009 in the face of the most serious economic downturn since The Great Depression, Cello has bucked the trend and seen steady growth with bookings doubling in 2012.
This resulted in the acquisition of a second aircraft and the creation of four new cabin and flight crew jobs.
Paul Kehoe, chief executive at Birmingham Airport, said: “It’s great to see Cello Aviation going from strength to strength. This addition to their fleet clearly demonstrates there is strong demand for the excellent product and services Cello offers. This is fantastic news for everyone concerned.”
Cello Aviation, part of The Gill Group, employs 18 staff at its base on the Elmdon site as well as a number of consultants and contractors.
