SOLIHULL counter clerk Steve Bradburn took time out from his post office duties to join disabled ultra distance runner Chris Moon MBE on part of his 1,000-mile charity run.
Steve joined forces with the ultra-distance celebrity to run from Abbey Road post office to Birmingham’s Pinfold Street branch and show his support for Post Office 1000 Challenge .
Chris lost his lower right leg and right arm whilst supervising mine clearance in Mozambique some 15 years ago.
He is embarking on his Post Office 1000 Challenge throughout September, running an average of 36 miles a day in support of Barnardo’s.
The Challenge is being backed by thousands of staff from Post Office Ltd, Royal Mail plus Parcelforce Worldwide and Steve Bradburn claimed:
“When I heard what Chris was doing, I just wanted to get involved.”
