TOUCHWOOD is urging local artists and community groups to take part in its Your Space scheme.
The initiative, launched last year, allows organisations or individuals to showcase their cause, service or talent, in front of thousands of shoppers.
Interested parties can sign up to occupy a space, free of charge, for periods of a week to a month, from Monday.
The only condition is that the area is used to promote or display something engaging and of interest to the local community.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, said: “We launched Your Space as a year-long initiative, but the scheme has proved so popular that we have decided to extend it into 2011.
“Your Space offers a great opportunity to help raise awareness of some of the deserving and interesting organisations in the area.
“During 2010 a whole host of different groups took advantage of the space, from the RSPCA and Marie Curie, to the British Sugarcraft Guild, Solihull Youth Workshop and Ackers Adventure.
“Space is limited so we encourage anyone interested to apply now and let us know how they would like to use the area.”
