Charity skin scanning raises £700 for Cancer Research

KNOWLE and Dorridge Ladies Circle have raised over £700 for Cancer Research with a ‘skin scanning’ event.

KNOWLE and Dorridge Ladies Circle have raised over £700 for Cancer Research with a ‘skin scanning’ event.

The ladies, all dressed in pink, were invited to have the skin scanned by experts from the Sk:n Clinic to assess it for sun damage, during the event at Warwickshire Sports Club in Olton last week.

Jackie Roberts, from the Circle, said: “The evening was a great success. Everyone got involved and joined in the skin scanning which was run by experts from sk:n, who also gave everyone a free product after their scan.

“We are delighted to have raised over £700 for Cancer Research whilst having fun and learning at the same time.”

A charity silent auction was also held.

Ladies Circle is an international organisation for women who meet regularly for social, community and fund-raising events.

Any women aged between 18 and 45 interested in joining should email kanddladiescircle@hotmail.com.
