A WELL-known Solihull businessman is taking responsibility for Rotary Clubs across the West Midlands.
On Saturday, David Butler became the organisation’s new district governor
He has been involved in charity-work for many years, first with Round Table and then Solihull Rotary Club.
And he’s looking forward to his time as governor - a post that his father also held, over 30 years ago.
“Rotary is a great organisation for bringing good things to the world,” said David.
“It presents a personal opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves.”
The hand-over ceremony took place at the National Motorcycle Museum last Saturday.
During his 12 months as governor, David said he wanted to get more young people involved in Rotary.
