THE Transport Museum in Chapel Lane, Wythall, is gearing up for the Bank Holiday by offering classic bus rides through the north Worcestershire countryside .
Situated just south of Birmingham near M42 junction 3, the museum is offering rides on both Sunday and Monday, August 28/29 through Henley-in-Arden, Earlswood, Alvechurch and Beoley.
“For some it’s pure nostalgia but car users and kids relish the chance to look over the hedges and across the lovely countryside here on the Worcestershire-Warwickshire border,” said museum manager Malcolm Keeley. miniature steam trains will also be running.
The Sunday and Monday operating days start at 10.30am but the museum is also open on Saturday from 11am.
