Collector overload

IS there anyone else getting fed up of every time you go shopping in Solihull ie Sainsbury’s or Morrisons you always get somebody standing at the exit doors holding a charity tin.

IS there anyone else getting fed up of every time you go shopping in Solihull ie Sainsbury’s or Morrisons you always get somebody standing at the exit doors holding a charity tin.

I understand that tin collecting is a valuable source of funding for charities – but giving to charity is a personal choice – and one that I like to do so in my own time and to the charity that I choose.

Noise control time

TODAY we are always being told to recycle reminding us of ways of saving the planet, but there doesn’t seem to be any control over noise pollution. WE see these silly little cars every day being driven by young drivers and the exhaust system is bigger than the car and so is the noise.

It seems today that you can get away with most things. Profanity and crude language are becoming more common on prime time television, a lot of the writers and producers are intent on pushing the limits of how much immoral and offensive language they can get away with, when I ask people in the street for their opinion they reply well oh that’s just how things are, nobody cares about swearing anymore.

Profane and vulgar language is noise pollution of the worst kind, it dishonours God and degrades men and women, conversation punctuated by cursing, and swearing is horrible to listen to its like verbal abuse. Un-Godly language creates an immoral and unspiritual atmosphere which is hostile to clean thinking and living, the swearing and blasphemy used in modern society is drowning out God’s spirit. Blasphemy is now widely used by most people in this country and most people are not aware that they are committing an offence against God. Oh my G..d is the most common type of blasphemy against God and I don’t have to spell it out as to what the others are, [Psalm 141 v 3] says set a guard o Lord over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my mouth.[Matthew 15 v 11] says not what goes into the mouth defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth defiles a man.
