FIRMS who are interested in running a Solihull casino will be meeting with the council next week.
The borough has already received approval from the Government to build a large casino.
Now the local authority has to decide which gaming company should be awarded the license.
A public consultation into the council’s gaming policy has already got underway.
This takes into account the competition criteria to be followed before a licence is issued and people’s views on any regeneration activities and facilities they feel a casino operator should be encouraged to propose when making a bid.
A council spokeswoman said the meeting with potential casino operators would give them an insight into the council’s expectations, including securing the greatest benefit for the local area.
