CRIME and anti-social behaviour in parts of Solihull has plummeted in the past year, latest figures have revealed.
The statistics, taken from the police.uk website, show there were 172 cases of crime and anti social behaviour in Solihull town centre in December 2011, compared to 202 in December 2010.
In Shirley, there were 176 incidents in December 2010 and 152 twelve months later.
Offences have also fallen in Chelmsley Wood, from 238 incidents to 192.
Knowle and Hampton-in-Arden have both seen a reduction in crime and anti social behaviour.
But reports have risen in Castle Bromwich and villages like Dorridge and Hockley Heath.
