A SPECIALIST criminal law solicitor has returned to Solihull and Birmingham solicitors Williamson & Soden after a couple of years with a rival firm.

Habib Ahmed is a qualified solicitor and Higher Court Advocate and his return brings the total of solicitors at the firm with higher court access to four.

Mr Ahmed has dealt with many serious cases including the importation and supply of drugs and gangland style ´execution´ murders.

“I am pleased to have returned to Williamson & Soden to join the firm´s criminal law defence team which I regard as one of the region´s leaders in its field” said Mr Ahmed.

Department head Ms Julia Morgan said: “Habib´s return strengthens our team and means that all of our solicitors are Higher Court Advocates.”

“Our focus remains on the planned expansion of our criminal law defence team and our capability to represent in higher courts means that we can stay with clients as their cases progress from the initial charges in a police station through to higher courts.

“In turn, this continuity means that we can give the best service based on detailed case knowledge.”

Mr Ahmed, who lives in Birmingham, counts travel and motor sports amongst his leisure interests. He has plans to visit a number of UNESCO heritage sites.
