PASSENGERS enjoyed a taste of ‘Turkish Delight’ when travelling through Birmingham Airport recently.

The sweet savouring was designed to celebrate the launch of a new flight service to the Turkish summer resort of Antalya by Pegasus Airlines.

Flights to the Turkish destination will commence from Birmingham on May 2 and will operate every Sunday during the summer season.

Situated on the ‘Turkish Riviera’ Antalya is claimed to offer holidaymakers plenty of family-friendly beaches, hidden coves and delicious cuisine along with a huge range of accommodation to suit every budget.

Paul Kehoe, Birmingham Airport’s chief executive claimed: “Turkey is shaping up to be a popular destination this summer as it lies outside of the Eurozone, which means it’s sure to offer fantastic value for money”.

Pegasus Airlines are Turkey’s leading low-cost carrier and expect to continue their direct flights to Antalya from Birmingham until October 17.
