I REGULARLY walk my dog around Knowle and in Knowle Park. I always carry bags to clear up and dog treats to recall my dog.
One morning this week I counted eight lots of dog dirt left in the park. The same afternoon a dog owner with a Jack Russell failed to see her dog deposit its business because she was a long way ahead of her dog. Shortly after this the dog ran amongst children sitting with their father in the park. The children ran away and then back to their father, clearly frightened.
The owner did nothing.
Another afternoon I picked up someone else’s dog dirt left by one of the zebra crossings in Knowle. Also late this evening I witnessed a small brown dog defecating on Knowle High Street.
I am sure you know who you are; I am ashamed of you all. Unlike myself you are clearly happy for the park and village centre to become dog-free zones.
