DRUGS, anti-social behaviour, graffiti and inconsiderate parking are the main issues that concern Solihull residents according to the police.
Solihull Police have released their latest local policing plan, where they pledge to target drug users, reckless motorists and those guilty of littering and not clearing up after their dog.
Officers surveyed members of the community to ask them what areas they should be focussing on, alongside the normal ‘objectives’ of the force.
Chief Superintendent Sally Bourner said: “We have worked hard to get views from people across our borough to help us understand what [they] would like us to focus on in 2013/14.
“[Their] feedback is greatly appreciated and we have produced this local policing plan from the views you routinely give us.”
Officers will also work on reducing burglary but have stressed crime has continued to fall.
“Solihull borough has one of the lowest rates of adult re-offending in the country,” added Chief Supt Bourner.
