As one of just two druids in the borough, the 66-year-old believes everything has a spirit and holds oak trees as sacred.
“Everything around you has a spirit form,” said former carer Lynda, a member of the international Order of Bards Ovates and Druids. “I don’t wear funny clothes, I don’t push it on people, it’s about learning to get in tune with life.
“Being a druid doesn’t mean we stand in the path of progress. However we hold oak trees as sacred, I was very disappointed they were torn down.”
