A DRUNKEN reveller was arrested after being ejected from a Christmas Day party.

Paul Garrington, 25, of Welland Grove, Pype Hayes, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Chester Road, Castle Bromwich in the early hours of Boxing Day.

Malcolm Stoddart, prosecuting, said police had received a report at 2.12am that a man was attempting to break a number of windows.

John Derry, defending, said Garrington apologised for his behaviour but denied trying to smash any windows and had simply been waiting for a taxi. Garrington was ordered to pay £270 in fines and costs.
