THE children of two Aston Villa legends teamed-up to play their first gig together at Knowle British Legion last Friday.

Steve Withe, who lives in the village, is the son of Claret and Blue hero Peter - who scored the winning goal in the 1982 European Cup final.

And Steve has joined forces with 17-year-old singer Chloe Stephens, the daughter of his dad’s former Villa team-mate Pat Heard.

“I got talking to Pat and found out his daughter had an incredible singing voice,” said the 32-year-old.

The night was a tribute to bands like Oasis and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and also featured an auction of football memorabilia.
