An Earlswood sub postmaster has been getting ‘wiggy with it’ for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Paul Croft has been sporting a judge’s wig and gown, while colleagues at the Umberslade Road Post Office opted for brightly coloured or sparkling headgear last weekend to raise £350 for the charity.
Paul, who has worked at Earlswood for seven years, said: “I thought it would be fun to dress as a judge and it went down very well with my customers, many of whom I know by name. I’d like to thank all of them for their support for such a great cause.”
The Midcounties Co-operative raised an impressive national total of £87,000 in its first charity event for Teenage Cancer Trust, £9,000 of which was collected through its post offices such as Earlswood.
