I WAS saddened to hear that another market may be the sole domain of the Germans, together with Birmingham, Manchester, York, London, Canterbury etc. The one time of the year that traditional English products can and should be showcased and we hand it over to another country.
We champion traditional English products; gift packs of beer and cider from award winning producers, mulling syrups, friendship cakes and the like together with non-alcoholic hot mulled products to warm the cockles - all traditionally English.
We would dearly love to come to Solihull as we are a Meriden based company and Silhillians through and through. I hope there is an opportunity to have a presence in Solihull this year.

Behind the mask.....
I ENGAGED the Taxpayers Alliance to come to speak to Solihull Pensioners’ Convention, having no knowledge that they were connected to a political party. How disillusioned I have become, to now know that they were bankrolled mainly by the Midlands Industrial Council - a group of Tory multimillionaires! With the banking scandal we are all paying for - how will our young people fare in the future?

Land Army plea
I WAS wondering if there is anyone living in Solihull who was in the Women`s Land Army during the Second World War? I am doing a school project and would like to interview someone to help me.
