IT’S 100 not out for cricket-fan Eric Turner, who celebrated his century earlier this month.
Family and friends visited Millers Court, in Shirley, to mark the 100th birthday.
Eric lived in Hall Green for many years, before moving to the sheltered housing, in Haslucks Green Road.
During the war he served in the navy, spending four-years on search and rescue boats in Burma.
Apart from cricket, he loves singing and was a member of the St Alphege Choir, in Solihull, for some 30 years.
