EX-Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton has been charged with failing to disclose the name of a motorist who allegedly broke the speed limit.

EX-Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton has been charged with failing to disclose the name of a motorist who allegedly broke the speed limit.

The football manager, who left Blues in June and is now at Norwich FC, is due to stand trial at Solihull Magistrates Court next month.

It’s alleged his car was recorded exceeding the speed limit in Solihull in February, when he was still in charge at St Andrew’s.

But after being served notice to confirm who was behind the wheel, he is said to have failed to provide the information. Hughton, 53, first appeared before the bench on July 9 and the case was adjourned to the same court on August 22.

If convicted, the offence carries a maximum sentence of six penalty points and a fine.
