FOLLOWING hot on the heels of last week's Creative Imagination extravaganza, this week Mell Square Shopping Centre is joined by the hilarious Pinxton Puppets, as the third installment of Summer Fun is rolled out.

Next Thursday (August 14), the entertainment continues with a special appearance from the Pinxton Puppets, who will be bringing their show to the square. Visitors to the puppet show can expect enactments of traditional favourites including Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, and for those that prefer discovery, a pirate adventure.

The Pinxton Puppets will also be bringing along their animal puppet band to add musical delights to the routines.

If that still hasn't grabbed your children's attention, entertainers will also be out in force with a whole host of amusements including comedy magic, music, amazing juggling skills, magnificent balloon animals and lots of fun games. There is also an exclusive chance for your little ones to make their own glove puppets at the craft workshop.

Paul Round, centre manager at Mell Square, said: "There was an excellent turn out last week for the Creative Imagination and I think this event will be no exception. There are still two further Summer Fun days planned for the remainder of the school holidays so make sure that you come along to Mell Square for some free family fun."

For more fun-filled days are planned for:

Thursday August 21- Bug's World - spider, cockroaches and bugs - make them, see them and hold them.

Thursday August 28- Active 8 - kids can get physical, climb the tower or bounce on trampolines.

The Summer Fun Days programme may be subject to change depending on the weather.
