FOOTBALL fan Mark Daniels couldn’t believe his luck when he got to take some shots at Anfield in front of 42,000 people.

Mark, aged 47, had won a competition to take part in a penalty-shoot out at Liverpool’s home ground.

As a life-long fan of the Reds, it was a dream come true for the Castle Bromwich man.

And his big day got even better, when Mark buried two shots in the back of the net and won a holiday in Spain.

“As a Liverpool FC fan, I fulfilled a lifelong ambition to score at Anfield - that’s what every professional player in the Premier League would love to do, and I scored twice!”

“I now have a 100 per cent penalty taking record at Anfield. and scored in front of the Kop, with a capacity crowd - nothing beats that.”

The Jaguar worker had won the chance to pull on his boots and run-out on the pitch, after entering a competition on Liverpool’s website.

He was picked from over a thousand entries and took part in the penalty shoot-out during last weekend’s clash with Fulham.
