THERE’s plenty of fun to be had on the farm this school holiday as Hatton Farm Village, near Warwick, hosts a choc-o-bloc programme of Easter-themed activities.
Visitors to Hatton’s Easter Eggstravanganza (April 4 - 19) can take part in exciting Easter egg and bunny hunts – with chocolate treats for all children who enter. And there is also a special Easter Egg for anyone who can help the Easter Bunny find his favourite golden egg he lost whilst playing in the farm village.
Hatton Farm Village has over 300 resident pigs, sheep, goats and cows – many of them rare breeds - plus hundreds of guinea pigs in their very own village.
Every day visitors can watch Hatton’s animals being fed at Farmyard Tea-time and meet the new arrivals in the animal nursery. And as part of their Easter programme, Hatton will also have a special handling area where children can hold one of Hatton’s friendly pets.
Carol Blower, marketing manager, said: “Easter is a lovely time of year at the farm with daffodils blooming and chicks and bunnies reminding us spring is here. We’ve also got our popular Sheepstakes sheep racing and Daft Duck Trials attractions as part of our new season’s programme to keep the whole family entertained.”
Hatton Farm Village is at Hatton Country World, located just off the A4177 between Warwick and Solihull. For further information call 01926 843411 or visit www.hattonworld.com.
