TRIBUTES have been laid at the scene of a motorbike crash in Hall Green – in which a father-of-two lost his life.
The fatal collision, which involved the bike and a Vauxhall Signum, happened in Baldwins Lane on Sunday evening, at around 5pm.
Emergency services battled to save 42-year-old Adrian Hopkins’ life, but he was confirmed dead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Everyone at the scene worked hard to try to resuscitate the motorcyclist, and those efforts continued en-route.”
Flowers have already been laid at the roadside in memory of the Yardley Wood man.
A message left by his wife, Susanne, said: “You were my whole world. I am so devastated. I love you. I always will.”
