Female students from Solihull encouarged to follow a career in science.

LIGHT Hall School, Soroptimist International Solihull & District and the borough council have joined forces to encourage young women to embark on a science career.

LIGHT Hall School, Soroptimist International Solihull & District and the borough council have joined forces to encourage young women to embark on a science career.

Year nine students have been invited to Light Hall School to take part in interactive science workshops, run by the likes of Jaguar Land Rover and the Open University.

Mayor of Solihull Irene Chamberlain, MP Lorely Burt and Professor of Science Communication from University of Reading, Averil MacDonald, will be in attendance.
