Firebomb attack shuts dress shop

A KNOWLE dress shop has been forced to close its doors – after a firebomb attack earlier this year.

The January incident saw Prommisses, in Kimbells Walk, targeted just a month after a similar attack on Whispers clothes, in the High Street.

The store is now empty, and on the market with John Shepherd.

Owners Cheryl Buck and Deborah Cox said: “The fire unfortunately came at the very worst time for us being at the beginning of the Prom season when the shop was full of new stock.

“All the dresses were ruined and were almost impossible to replace in time for this season as we order six months in advance.

“So it is with much regret that we have had to close our doors.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our valued customers over the last four years, and confirm that we will honour the few outstanding orders that we have.”
