First details have emerged about some of the events that will form part of this year’s Solihull Festival.
Now in its 13th year, the event has raised over £350,000 for charities since its conception.
This year’s event, taking place from September 21-29, will once again be supporting good causes around the local area.
The event is organised by Rotary clubs, with the main sponsors announced as Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre and Touchwood.
Among the highlights this time will be an appearance by Antiques Roadshow expert Will Farmer.
He will be visiting the borough to talk about the art of valuing heirlooms and antiquities at Solihull Arts Complex on September 26.
A number of festival favourites are also confirmed to return over the course of the ten day event.
Among them the Competitive Music Competition, which will be held once again at Alderbrook School.
Roving poetry performances in the Touchwood shopping centre and a series of shows from Solihull Stagecoach are also among the programme.
Tickets for the Will Farmer ‘Lost & Found’ talks are available now on 0121 704 6962.
