A DERELICT development site that has been a problem for local residents for years is to be given a new lease of life and transformed into a landscaped community of homes.
Solihull Heights, known previously as the Horizon building, is located on the New Coventry Road, Sheldon, and will be launched with an open weekend, which runs from May 11-13, where potential purchasers can get a first viewing of the new development of 146 apartments.
London-based Locksbridge Developments started work on site last September and is now ready to launch the first phase of 46 studio, one bed and two bed apartments. They will be ready by July.
The launch weekend begins today (Friday) with a civic reception which will be attended by Yardley MP John Hemming. The open weekend begins tomorrow (Saturday).
