THE FOUNDER of Solihull Job Club, Maggie Throup will be speaking about its success at the launch of the National Work Clubs Network today (Friday) at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

THE FOUNDER of Solihull Job Club, Maggie Throup will be speaking about its success at the launch of the National Work Clubs Network today (Friday) at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

The club has been running for more than two years, helping job seekers with their CVs, interview practice, job search skills and self-esteem.

Maggie said: “Job clubs are now being set up around the country providing extra support for job hunters. It is good news that we can share best practice as well as hints and tips of what works and what doesn’t work.

“Solihull Job Club is now recognised by the DWP and, as part of the Work Clubs Network, plays an important part in the Government’s ‘Get Britain Working’ programme.”
