Four youths hurt as Porsche hit wall

Four young men travelling in the car escaped serious injury, when the vehicle crashed behind the village’s Tesco store. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene around 5.20am and the area was cordoned off.

The driver, aged 22, suffered a laceration to his head and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Three passengers, all teenagers, suffered multiple minor injuries, but were taken to hospital.

Four people have been arrested by Warwickshire Police in connection with an alleged car key burglary in Earlswood at around 5am.

They were quizzed on suspicion of burglary, aggravated car taking and other motoring offences and bailed pending further inquiries.
