THE MAYOR of Solihull has welcomed the launch of free classes to help locals of all ages get fit and lose weight.

Free Fit Club, held three times a week at Tudor Grange School, was the brainchild of personal trainers Jack Crane and Chris Toase and nutritional coach Cheryl Lissemore.

“Fit Club is a genuine opportunity for people of all ages who are looking to get fit and lose weight to do so at no cost,” said Cheryl.

“Most of us have had to reduce our outgoings over the last couple of years and gym memberships are often one of the first expenses to get cut.”

Sessions are held every Monday and Wednesday at 6.30pm and Saturdays from 9.30am. For more information, visit www.freefitclub.co.uk or call 0800 032 5256.
