NO I do not think that the studio at Solihull Arts Complex is the correct place for the Tamiflu point (Letters). The library centre is used for library services, council business, theatre bookings and the studio for workshops, blood donor centre etc.
How many people are they trying to infect to keep the centre running and justify the need!
On a personal note I booked the theatre and the studio two years ago to house my dancing school show and rehearsal for approximately 150 pupils and matrons. Suddenly I was told that my facility had been confiscated and that if my numbers exceeded theatre requirements I should find alternative venues or cancel!
Obviously Emergency Planning is not concerned with our problems, even though they have the option of alternative venues - perhaps an empty shop in Touchwood. Or would that involve a financial commitment - not that my cancelling would involve financial disaster for my school and the theatre.
Thanks to Andrew Sherrif and his team I hope our performances will go ahead and be ones to remember for all the children, parents and helpers.
