A BERKSWELL nurse who has raised £22,000 for charity has slammed thieves who have stolen the Specialized bike that she was using to train for her next challenge.
Loraine Bryan, aged 56, said the burglars had smashed their way through her patio windows on Tuesday afternoon.
They also broke-into the outhouse where the bike was. Loraine had been using it to train for a cycle-ride in Kenya.
“I think we’ve become a bit blasé about burglaries - we think, just another burglary,” said the mum-of-three.
“But I’m just angry that people can violate your home and belongings.”
The thieves also made off with jewellery, electrical equipment and the family’s motor home.
The bike was a burgundy, evita comp - number WUD70680479.
