Fulford Heath Golf Club recently showed off the Ryder Cup to its members. This was possible as the current club captain Barry Drew was chief marshall at the event when it was held at Celtic Manor last year.
Fulford Heath members were able to have their photos taken holding the cup, an event embraced enthusiastically by many, including some of the club’s junior section.
Club members enjoy a course which challenges golfers of all abilities. Hazards are created by the River Cole which flows through the course and influences decisions on a number of holes. Modern techniques and course alterations combined with conservation areas, wild flowers and an abundance of wildlife enhance the player’s enjoyment.
Membership enquiries are always welcome, as are visitors. All enquiries should be directed to the secretary/manager, Julie Morris, on 01564 824758.
